What type of photocells does "The Lobster" use?
The light uses Polycrystalline Panel - converting solar energy into electricity. This type of panel converts the sunlight 20% more effective than conventional panels. Though it is cost effective and not breaking the bank as other comparable panels.
Which light modes does the light have and how to set them up?
- 3 Intelligent Lighting Modes
Set up the lighting mode needed by using the remote control
Mode 1 - Radar: The light will turn on once the motion sensor detects a movement.
Mode 2 - Induction: The light will stay ON at 10% of brightness and once it detects movement it will turn ON at full brightness, then it will go back at 10% of brightness if it doesn't detect more movement.
Mode 3 - Brightness: The light can will stay on 100% brightness as long as it is dark.
How long does the light stay ON at night?
In mode 3 the light can stay on for up to 8 hours. To achieve this it needs sufficient solar intake during the day.
What happens on a cloudy day?
Due to the effective Polychrystalline Panel it takes around 8 hours of daylight to fully charge the battery. Even during cloudy days the battery will be sufficiently charged. Please note that the panel needs to be mounted in position with sufficient daylight.
What is the minimum and maximum temperature these lights can handle?
Our solar panel lights can withstand the coldest temperatures up to -45 degrees Celsius and even get charged with snow and ice on the panel surface. On the hand they can handle the hottest temperatures up +45 degrees without overheating.
Is any wiring required?
No! Our solar lights are 100% wire free. Simply install the light with the mounting brackets in the desired place. Push the turn ON/OFF button. That’s it!

Once it detects movement it will turn ON at full brightness, then it will go back at 10%. Mode 3 is a strong light mode that turns on a 100% bright light in darkness.
